HUMAN FORM
History: Blackbird grew tired of war a long time ago. The reckless ambition of the Decepticons, and the senseless violence of their war sickened him, and so he left Cybertron to go into hiding.
The form he eventually chose on Earth seemed appropriate for one who wished to remain unseen. He slumbered in peace for years. Now, reawakened by the arrival of the war on Earth, he decided once again to enter the fight - this time on the side of the Protectors, and this time to end it for good, whatever the cost.
Blackbird is a wise, experienced warrior who has survived for many years. Good natured and quite jolly, he likes to share stories about his previous battles to the younger people. Although he has stood the tests of time and is living proof that classics never get out of date due to his strength and durability, the years haven't been kind to his physique. He is somewhat slow and awkward in robot mode, and he also has a bum leg.
Equipment: Ancient Cybetronian Pistol, Energon Wave Cannon, Axe
Powers: Despite his age, Blackbird's radar detection systems are still as good as ever. He can detect enemy presence before they even attack, which is quite effective at ruining enemy ambushes. His Ancient Cybertronian Pistol fires at a relatively decent rate, but does good damage with each shot. When he fires his Energon Wave Cannon, a slow moving projectile will impact the nearest object in its path, then turn into a energy shockwave that will travel for a set distance. Anyone caught in the shockwave will take a small amount of damage, but also be stunned until a few seconds pass or they take damage from an enemy.
Skill: Due to his long lifetime, Blackbird has a lot of knowledge about the ancient history of many planets (including Cybertron and Earth). Despite his age, his fists pack quite a wallop. In robot form, he can leave an enemy unit stunned for a few seconds with just one dizzying punch.
Trivia (Optional):
-He's not the X-Men's Blackbird jet (though he might enjoy it if he ever got the job).
-In robot form, he's the same size as Nomad (which means that he was quite big when he was younger, since now, he is always hunched over due to his age). However, in human form, he is the same height as Fractyl's human form (5'5").
Sample of how you'll play this character:
Rodimus Prime, Maxima, Glyph and Fractyl were following Blackbird, the gigantic sagely warrior, through a maze inside an ancient temple. They were reaching a large chamber in the temple and they find some inscriptions on the wall.
"See, what did I tell you?!!!" said Blackbird.
"Wow!!! You were right!!! These are Cybertronian markings. I'll try to decipher them." said Glyph as a visor came from her helmet and started translating the inscriptions.
"All I know is that here is where Metrotitan hid the Solar Needle, which shall drain the power of the sun and leave the Earth cold and barren." said Blackbird.
"Solar Needle? C'mon, that's stuff of legend." said Maxima.
"I don't think so, Maxima... according to these inscriptions, the Needle is behind that wall." said Glyph.
"I'll take care of that!!!" said Rodimus as he started punching the wall.
Inside, there is a strange looking device of Cybertronian origin.
"Is that--?" uttered Fractyl.
"Yes... the dreaded Solar Needle. The weapon which has deprived many planets of their suns!!!" said Blackbird. "Now, be careful... there could be traps around here."
