BANNER
THE POINT OF NO RETURN (AKA THE TRANSFORMATION TRIGGER EFFECT)
THE HULK
History: Dr. David Bruce Banner had a troubled childhood. When he was a child, his mother Elizabeth died, and he had a very bitter relationship with his father, D.W. Banner. However, he managed to live all these tragedies thanks to the support of his sister, Helen Banner. His bitterness toward his father and the death of his mother made him choose to go out and become a scientist in order to save other people's lives.
As he grew up, he had a very happy life and married a beautiful woman named Laura. However, despite living together for some years, tragedy struck when Banner's car got a flat tire and was thrown out of the highway. Laura was killed in the accident, and feeling extreme guilt, Banner started doing research about tapping into the hidden strengths that all humans have and discovers that gamma radiation is the key to this hidden strength. He then proceeded to experiment on himself, but unknowingly, he accidentally overdosed himself with gamma rays and became a 6'5" monster known as the Incredible Hulk.
His research partner, Dr. Elaina Marks tried to cure David's condition, but the untimely intervention of National Register reporter Jack McGee delays their experiments. When he was discovered, McGee accidentally threw a bottle of nitroglicerin, which was mixed with some explosive dust. This caused a major explosion and Banner went inside to get Elaina, who had been trapped by the explosion. Banner turned into the creature and saved Elaina, but she dies shortly after due to her wounds. Because of this, McGee thinks the Hulk killed Elaina and Banner and keeps pursuing the creature around the world.
Banner now walks around the world, trying to find a cure to his condition. He also changes his identity constantly so he isn't discovered.
Personality: Despite a troubled past, Banner can be a pretty warm, sweet, gentle person. He doesn't want to harm anyone, he just wants to help. He has left a great impact on all the people he has met due to his invaluable help. The Hulk, on the other hand, is a violent, raging monster towards his enemies. However, when he's with someone that he doesn't see as a threat, he becomes somewhat docile and calm. And because of Banner's sub-conscious, the Hulk will only throw people around and punch, but he won't ever kill.
Weapons: Banner and the Hulk don't have any weapons.
Powers: Thanks to the gamma rays, Banner and the creature have a healing ability. Bullet wounds that could heal in days can heal in minutes or hours. However, if the damage were too catastrophic, the creature (and Banner) could die.
Skill: An expert physician, Banner is quite knowledgeable in the subject of radiation and is a pretty resourceful fellow. He is also knowledgeable in medicine. He can also disguise himself for undercover missions. The creature only uses brute force, so he's quite limited on the skill department.
Sample of how you'll play this character:
David Banner is walking toward an alley. Then, two people jump on him and start mugging him.
"No!!! WAIT!!!! You don't know what you're doing!!!" said Banner desperately.
"Of course we do, chump!!! We're stealin' yer money!!!" said one of the muggers.
The muggers toss Banner into some trash cans and we see Banner's eyes turning white. His skin changes color and his body starts becoming bulkier. The creature looks at the muggers and growls. The muggers look at the creature and their expressions of greedy happiness turn into fear as the creature comes in closer toward them and grabs them. He turns around and throws them into the trash cans.
