History: Marsha Tyler was one of the people that worked on Bob Morton's RoboCop program.
Dr. Tyler played an important part on supervising the construction of RoboCop, and when Morton was killed by Clarence Boddicker (under the orders of Dick Jones), Tyler took charge of the program.
Tyler used to be a little bit naggy and uptight. She used to argue a lot with Officer Anne Lewis about RoboCop's nature, but ever since the RoboCop II incident, she has started mellowing out. And when the RoboCop Mark III was created, she has become sort of a guide for this new unit.
Tyler still checks over RoboCop and RoboCop III, but now, she is also trying to hold back her emotions towards Robo III, who has also developed emotions towards Tyler.
